When designing a game you need direction. There are too many avenues to explore, and over the lifetime of a project it can be difficult to stay on course. Johnnemann Nordhagen has a great talk about using various design lodestars to describe your game’s plot, tone, themes, or technical decisions. These may move or change over time, but they should help you keep your heading and allow you to complete a cohesive project.

Return of the Lividaea is still in the infancy of its story creation, however there are a few things I want to hold throughout and have come up with the following loadstars.
